Swami’s Beach, a world-famous surf spot, is a cultural landmark in Encinitas. It takes its name from Swami Paramahansa Yogananda, whose Self-Realization Fellowship ashram overlooks the pristine waves, adding a spiritual touch to the city’s coastal identity.
