What Makes us Different

Thorough Inspections
Inspectors from large companies often have overloaded schedules, leaving little time to thoroughly assess your home. Once they spot termite activity, their default solution is tenting—so why bother with a detailed inspection? At California Termite, we take a different approach. While tenting is an option, many of our customers prefer alternatives. That’s why we focus on being exceptionally thorough. If you want to avoid tenting, it’s essential to identify every area of termite infestation—and that’s what we do.
Experience
All of our inspectors are fully licensed by the California Structural Pest Control Board, bringing years of experience to each inspection. With continuous education every year and hundreds of inspections completed annually, our team is equipped to handle any termite issue with proven expertise.
Quality Checks
California Termite is the only company in the industry that schedules a quality check one month after every treatment. This ensures that every area of infestation was thoroughly treated, and all termite droppings were removed or properly addressed. While most companies wait at least a year for follow-up inspections, we believe that's too long—if any part of the treatment is incomplete, termites get an extra year to damage your wood. Plus, if droppings are left behind, it’s impossible to effectively monitor treatment success.

We value your time, so we always call when we're on the way.

Shoe Covers
You’ll never have to remind our termite inspectors or technicians to wear shoe covers—we’ve got it covered! Every California Termite employee is equipped with waterproof shoe covers because we understand you don’t want dirt tracked into your home. We’re more than happy to respect your space and keep it clean.

Hand Vacs
All of our termite inspectors and technicians come equipped with hand vacs to ensure a thorough clean-up after every job. Inspectors use them to remove debris when exiting attic spaces, while technicians clean up termite droppings after treating an infestation. This not only keeps your space tidy but also allows our inspectors to accurately monitor the effectiveness of treatments during follow-up inspections.

Attic & Crawlspaces
If you were to explore the far reaches of one of our customers’ attics or crawlspaces, you’d find ‘CA Termite’ and a date written in chalk. Our inspectors mark these areas to ensure our technicians know which spots are accessible and can reach every area without any surprises. We believe in thoroughness and transparency—our techs won’t be asked to access any area that our inspectors haven’t already confirmed.

Termite Droppings
Removing or masking termite droppings is crucial. Since termite droppings are essentially wood and do not decompose, failing to address them can create several issues. If droppings are left behind, it becomes impossible to assess the effectiveness of a treatment accurately. Additionally, if you switch pest control companies, rival firms might point out the leftover droppings and propose unnecessary, redundant treatments, potentially leading to additional costs.
