California Termite Now Offering Insulation Services
At California Termite, our inspectors and technicians spend a great deal of time in attics every day, so offering insulation services was a natural fit. Because we’re a company focused on helping homeowners, adding insulation services aligns perfectly with our mission.
Many of the attics we inspect are under-insulated. Some have little to no insulation at all, while others have been contaminated by rodent activity and droppings. Rather than simply recommending another company and hoping they provide the level of service our customers deserve, we decided to offer the service ourselves so we can oversee the process and ensure the best possible outcome.
There are several types of insulation commonly used in attics: batt insulation, TAP insulation, and white cellulose insulation.

Batt insulation is the traditional fiberglass roll insulation most homeowners are familiar with. It is installed in sections between attic framing members. TAP insulation — which stands for thermal, acoustical, and pest control — is a blown-in insulation infused with borate. The borate helps make the material flame retardant while also affecting insects by damaging their exoskeletons and causing dehydration.
White cellulose insulation is another blown-in option that provides a cleaner installation process. It is often easier to install than batt insulation, and technicians working in the attic won’t come out looking like they just crawled through a paper shredder.
If your home is under-insulated, your attic has been affected by rodents, your energy bills are too high, or you simply want a quieter and more comfortable home, California Termite can help. We’ll inspect your attic, clearly explain your options, and tailor a solution to your specific needs.
Unlike some termite companies that simply mark up subcontractor pricing, we keep our overhead low so we can provide competitive, transparent pricing directly to our customers.
Our team is committed to clear communication, honest recommendations, and quality service from start to finish. Contact California Termite today to schedule a no-obligation consultation.
